5th Gen 4Runner Third Brake Light Housing | Diode Dynamics SS10 Chase Light Mount
A clean chase light install on your 5th Gen, without wiring gymnastics.
There are plenty of ways to hang an SS10 off the back of a 4Runner. The problem is never the bracket, it's the wiring. Every one of those positions means routing power the length of the vehicle, fishing through the headliner or down a pillar, and hiding a run you'd rather not look at.
This housing puts the light where the wiring already is. It's a direct replacement for the factory third brake light, so you're tapping into the rear harness right there instead of running leads across the whole truck. Shorter run, fewer pass-throughs, nothing visible.
The light sits flush, centered, and looks like it left the factory that way.
I designed this because it didn't exist. As far as I know, this is the only direct-replacement SS10 chase light housing available for the 5th Gen 4Runner.
What you get
- Direct swap for the factory third brake light. No drilling, no cutting, no permanent modification.
- Pocket sized to the Diode Dynamics SS10, with clearance for the light's connector
- Reuses factory mounting points. The SS10's included universal brackets aren't needed.
- Note: Chase light not included
Need the light?
This housing is built for the Diode Dynamics SS10 LED Chase Light, a 3-in-1 unit combining an amber chase light with 20 programmable strobe patterns, a red brake light with SafetyStrobe modes, and a high-output white reverse light. It's IP69K rated and made in the USA. You'll need to source it separately.
